Lakehead Fabricators is a natural extension of the decades of self-performed piping maintenance and installation work Lakehead Constructors, Inc., was performing for its industrial clients. 

Lakehead Fabricators supports the diverse range of industrial clients serviced through Lakehead Constructors, as well as meeting the growing demand for fabrication services from clients outside of Lakehead’s traditonal client portfolio.

We are proud to offer high-quality piping and related assemblies fabricated at our 14,000 square foot production facility and 5-acre laydown area in Esko, MN. We  specialize in a wide variety of materials, including many exotic alloys, and maintain a large library of supporting welding procedures covering SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, and RMD processes.

Typical production items include large and small bore piping/spools (metal and HDPE), pipe racks, structural steel pipe supports, pre-engineered skids (equipment, regulator, metering), launchers and receivers.

In cases of Code Work such as ASME A or PP stamping or NBIC R stamping, Lakehead Fabricators, as a division of Lakehead Constructors, Inc., is able to perform that work. Our team is also familiar with state-level requirements, such as High Pressure Piping, and can obtain additional licensing as needed.

Every project we take on is managed by a dedicated Project Manager who can help clients through every step of the process, including estimating, scheduling, spool drawing/detailing, QAQC inspection and turnover.
