Lakehead Fabricators offers a range of services that can be customized to suit the unique needs of your project. From material procurement verifications to integrity testing, we can take your project from start to finish.

Inspections – From the development and implementation of an Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) to carrying out its requirements, our trained personnel and or/certified inspectors will verify that critical elements of a project, including received materials, completed welds, and applied coatings, meet project specifications.

Post-Weld Heat Treatment/Stress Relief – Depending on a metal’s composition and its intended use, a heat-treatment process may be a necessary step. We have the ability to manage this process through applicable procedures and can provide supporting documentation upon project completion.

Pressure Testing – Pressure testing can be performed pneumatically (typically with an inert gas) or hydrostatically (water or other liquids) and tests the components to a standard beyond typical operating parameters. In doing so, the integrity of the system is validated. Documentation can be done in several ways and is driven by project requirements.

Surface Finishing – Blasting, coating, painting and lining add to the life expectancy and integrity of fabricated goods. Utilizing enclosed abrasive blasing amenities and an internal paint booth or external options when necessary, we offer options for improved corrosion and wear resistance, identification, and general aesthetics of your project.

QA/QC Turnover Packages – We can provide detailed documentation, certificates, and records to demonstrate and support delivery of products that meet our clients’ exacting specifications.
